I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. Books, mostly. Dozens of them, across more genres than any reasonable person would attempt. Sci-fi, cyberpunk, literary fiction, children’s books, whatever showed up and refused to leave. None of them are published, but all of them are finished, or close enough to argue about it.
I also make YouTube videos about Filipino music, which is not a sentence I ever expected to write about my life, but here we are.
The thing is, between the manuscripts and the reactions and the scripts and the outlines, there’s a lot of stuff that doesn’t have a place. Thoughts that are too long for a comment and too short for a book, things I notice, things I want to say out loud to someone, even if that someone is just the internet at 2 a.m.
So I built this. A room with a neon sign and some pages, no schedule and no plan. Just a place to put things down when they need putting down.
You’ll find me thinking out loud in here. Sometimes about music, sometimes about writing, sometimes about whatever crossed my mind on the way to the coffee machine. If you watch Beyond the Song, you’ll also find written companion pieces for each episode, going further into the stories behind the music.
If you’ve seen my channel, you know the voice. If you haven’t, that’s fine too. Pull up a chair.
The light’s on.
